History

Towers Holdings, Inc. is the Chicago-based corporate parent of subsidiaries Towers Productions, Towers Post, and Towers Rentals - leaders in the areas of television production, media services and equipment rentals.

Towers Holdings, Inc. was created through a restructuring of the former Towers Productions, Inc. (TPI). Founded in 1989, TPI had produced over one thousand hours of factual and entertainment programming for US and international television networks including A&E, Animal Planet, Bio, CNN, Discovery Channel, Investigation Discovery - ID, Lifetime, MSNBC, NBC, National Geographic Channel, PBS, TruTV, WGN and The Weather Channel. Among the Company's signature series were "American Justice" and "Biography" (A&E), "The Final Report" (National Geographic Channel), "Storm Stories" (The Weather Channel) and the syndicated comedy series "Sports Action Team."

In 2009, TPI's television production activities and business were reconstituted as Towers Productions.

Towers Holdings, Inc.'s media services and equipment rental subsidiaries, Towers Post and Towers Rentals, were also created in 2009. They serve the needs of the the Chicago and national corporate, television and new media industries with skilled technicians and state-of-the art video production facilities and post-production facilities.
